CQB Skills & Techniques (3-Day)

The Joint Training Facility at Blue Force Gear’s CQB S&T Course is a 3 day, 30 hour course designed to integrate the CQB Principles into individual and small team skills and techniques that are the foundation of solid CQB.   Students will be challenged with multiple iterations in the shoothouse while working as 2 and 4 person teams.  This course is a mixture of force on target and force on force, focusing on the application of the principles of CQB, intuitive decision making, weapons manipulations and marksmanship, and effective verbal and nonverbal communication. Individual skills, as well as team techniques for tasks that are critical to success in any CQB environment will be covered and trained in depth. This course is taught through a combination of lecture, practical application and environmental stress inoculation.

Class will run 8am - 5pm each day. Lunch will be provided.

Equipment List: (per student)

  • Common Sense

  • Carbine with sling

  • 200 rds UTM ammo for carbine (available for purchase if necessary)

  • Carbine magazine pouches (magazines for the course will be provided)

  • Handgun

  • Tactical holster

  • Handheld and weapon mounted lights (with multiple sets of extra batteries)

  • Duty gear as applicable to you

  • Clear eye protection

  • Water, lunch and snack food (the class will not depart JTF for lunch breaks)

  • Training appropriate clothing

  • Pen and full size (8.5 x 11) notebook (you will be taking notes)

This is a physical class, please come prepared to work.
