Red Dot Sight Transition Course teaches students who are new to Pistol Mounted Optics how to efficiently operate a firearm with a Pistol Mounted Optic. During this course students will learn how to find their red dot from the draw and other ready positions, tracking the red dot under recoil, target transitions and red dot specific malfunctions.

 Equipment Needed:

Handgun w/ quality Red Dot Optic that is zeroed

3 Handgun magazines

Quality OWB holster

Magazine Holder(s)

Quality/Sturdy Belt

Ear and Eye Protection

550 rounds ammo (minimum)

Wet/Cold Weather Gear (as needed)

Open to:  Full time sworn Law Enforcement Officer- Patrol – SWAT – Jail – Courts – Admin-SRO
