Instructor: Pat Watson
Pat has served in military, government, and local law enforcement operations, including anti-piracy missions off the coast of Somalia and international counter-narcotics operations in the Pacific and the Caribbean. Additionally, Pat has experience in local patrol operations as a state law enforcement officer in Florida. Now a published author in the field of Tactical Lock Picking, Pat runs a full-time tactical training company, teaching this highly valuable skill set to operators across the U.S. and overseas.
In this class, officers will be introduced to lock-picking and bypassing tools and techniques that facilitate nondestructive entry (NDE) into padlocks, door locks, combination locks, and more. The course is entirely hands-on. NDE can often be faster than tactical breaching, helps preserve evidence compared to destructive entry, and many tools are small enough to carry in an everyday carry (EDC) manner. This skill set can be leveraged during emergencies, operations, and various administrative tasks, which ensures a positive return on the training. And, if your unit/agency conducts covert operations, NDE methods leave little to no trace of entry.
